When these 2 cuties showed up for their park session with their favourite Toy Story characters, cowboy/girl attire and stick horses, I knew we were going to have some fun!

Telling secrets to their buddy, riding their horses, giggling with each other. The session ended with them carelessly spinning in circles and racing until their laughter brought them down to the ground. Their is nothing better than giggles coming from a child!

Thanks for the fun Ethan & Kennedy!

Shelby was trying to think of a unique idea for one of her BFF’s birthday gift. On one of our shopping excurions we found the coolest frame, so we gave her a gift certificate for a Best friend Portrait Session to help her fill the frame. Her birthday was back in April but with the crazy schedule of these two we had to wait for summer to get it in.

When these two are together, all I hear is laughter. They laugh and giggle the entire time. That is what I want to capture. The magic and happiness between them when they are together. They are both absolutely beautiful girls, inside & out. It was my pleasure to spend the night driving these 2 crazy girls around looking for those perfect spots!

Summer Weddings and Portrait sessions are in full swing!

Park sessions have been very popular this summer!

Ollie & Layla were so much fun during their session! They absolutely loved everything we gave them to play with, which worked great as it made for some great images to be captured.

Park sessions will be available until the end of August! If your interested in Park Session call or email to schedule.

I need to be totally  honest, I’m just too excited about a new product I will be offering!  They’re called “Kid Quote Albums” and are a 20 page hard cover book that is customized to be all about Mom or Dad from the child’s perspective. They are great for Mom’s, Dad’s, Grandparents, a yearly keepsake for the child!

We are introducing these incredible Kid Quote Albums, just in time for Father’s Day. When you book a session for the Kid Quote Albums, you will be emailed a list of about thirty questions to ask your child or children about the person who will be receiving the album. Once you have “interviewed” your child/children simply email it back to me.

We don’t often ask a child’s perspective on a lot of things, and the answers you will get will range from shocking to downright hilarious. Whatever your child answers, you should write down – try not to prompt them to say certain things or change their answers. When you look back, you’re going to want to remember what they really thought and not what you wanted them to say. If your daughter says Daddy’s favourite person is spiderman, so be it!

For the session I will ask you bring whatever you can that belongs to the person the album is for so we can incorporate those items into the pictures. Try to bring anything that came up in one of your child’s answers as well as things that this person uses often. Think of their hobbies and what they do for a living and you should get plenty of ideas. I can help if you get stuck.

The pictures from your session will then be matched up with a question and answer from the child and printed in a beautiful album to be given as a gift.

Kid Quote Album pricing is all-inclusive, meaning that everything needed to create your album is included. The price you see includes a beautiful 20 page 5×5 hard cover coffee table album (larger albums are available at an additional cost) as well as the session fee. The introductory price is only $149!

Space is limited, so book early!

The receipient is going to love their album, I think it may even cause a few tears to be shed. Oh and the best part! A duplicate album is half price, because you know your not going to want to give it away!

I try to take pictures of the importants things, the fun times, family adventures but my girls have be telling me we need new pics of them up on the wall.

So this time we are going LARGE! We took advantage of the beautiful weather this past weekend, loaded in the van with a trunk full of clothes and headed out on the backroads.

We only had two objectives…. to capture some portraits for the wall and get some slushies! :)

These are my girls, they are generally always very happy, always smiling and laughing but I wanted more…..

This is my “baby”, my youngest. You see those lips……… (sigh)

I love the one of her jumping……. it sums up her, it sums up childhood….. soar and be free!

Brown eyes are suppose to be dominate ~ brown & blue made these, sometimes gold, sometimes green, sometimes hazel. (another sigh)

I love black & white…… I love black & white’s of a certain seven year old girl who pulls at my heart strings……..

You see this girl…… she is awesome! One of the most caring people I have ever meet.

This eleven year old still loves to hug her mom, this mom loves those hugs.

This is totally her………..

See this girl, she is my oldest, still my babe but going to be a “teen” in a couple weeks…… she is going to get a special photo session all on her own. She is amazing. So strong, so passionate.

She wants to be a lawyer……… I know she will become whatever she wants to be!

another one that melts me……………. ( sigh….. thirteen)

March Happenings

March 1, 2010

I love the magic that comes from a child once they are comfortable and begin to relax at the studio. This is the magic I wait to capture. The true moments, real expressions, right from the toe giggles. I.love.this.

Coming into the studio children can be leary….it’s a new place, I may be a new person. Sometimes I have to work to win a child over, that it one of the best challenges, E.V.E.R! Call me crazy you may, I love some attitude, I enjoy sitting back watching a child express themselves, peeking into their personality. Seeing the independence they are trying to grab.

Laughter keeps you young, these magic sessions are full of a ton of giggles!

Here is the lastest ballerina to grace our stage…..
